# BEEAH Group

> BEEAH Group’s public reporting describes several different routes in Sharjah, not one interchangeable recycling stream. Its materials recovery facility sorts recyclable fractions; its solid recovered fuel operation processes waste into alternative fuel for industrial users; and the Sharjah waste-to-energy plant converts residual waste to electricity. The company reported in April 2026 that the energy plant had processed one million tonnes cumulatively since opening in 2022 and was generating 30 MW. That is a cumulative plant input and an energy-generation figure, not recovered-material output. BEEAH also reported a planned second phase that would raise the plant’s design capacity, and a separate 2026 contract for a future integrated complex in Al Dhaid. Neither project should be read as current operating capacity. The public sources do not provide commodity grades, current saleable quantities, or uncommitted supply by facility.

## The Sharjah complex has distinct recovery routes

BEEAH describes an MRF for recyclable fractions, an SRF facility supplying alternative fuel to cement-factory kilns, a separate biomass facility that produces wood chips for cement factories and paper mills, and a waste-to-energy plant for residual waste. These are distinct pathways; the sources do not publish a single common recovered-material total.

### One million tonnes is cumulative plant input

BEEAH said in April 2026 that the Sharjah waste-to-energy plant had processed one million tonnes of waste since opening in 2022 and was generating 30 MW. This is a company-reported cumulative input milestone and power figure, not annual throughput, recycled tonnage, or a materials inventory.

### Expansion announcements are not current capacity

A 2025 announcement described a planned second phase intended to increase Sharjah plant capacity. Separately, a June 2026 contract covers a future integrated waste-management complex in Al Dhaid. Those announced projects remain distinct from the existing Sharjah operating assets in the reviewed evidence.

## Material Transition editorial interpretation

Choose a specific facility and route before sourcing: MRF commodity, solid recovered fuel, biomass-derived fuel, or residual-waste energy. Request the current operator, feedstock boundary, monthly mass balance, material specification, contamination limits, permits, downstream buyer route, contracted commitments and available quantity. Do not count fuel or electricity as recycled material.
