The Operating System for Sustainable Supply Chains
Built by ALT LABS, Material Transition is a manufacturing platform focused on solving procurement and waste problems.
Jesse Henry
Founder & CEO
In 2020, Jesse Henry founded Heartland, a vertically integrated natural fiber producer. Getting sustainable materials into commercial products meant navigating chemicals, packaging, agriculture, food, automotive, building materials, and beauty supply chains that were slow, fragmented, and expensive to navigate.
After leaving Heartland, Jesse started ALT LABS to build a sustainability platform. Material Transition is the piece of this platform that unlocks sustainable production. Manufacturers can now gain control over their material flow.
The people who are consciously making changes to their materials, packaging, products, and waste are the ones leading their industries. We created this platform to develop Material Transition Architects across every industry.
The Platform in Numbers
"Building sustainable supply chains should take days, not decades. We built the infrastructure to make that happen."
Jesse Henry, Founder of ALT LABS
