- Which countries does supplier coverage include?
- Supplier records primarily cover the United States and Canada, with limited records elsewhere. Facility and emissions layers are separate international datasets.
- Who uses Material Transition?
- Packaging, sustainability, materials and procurement leads at brand owners and manufacturers, plus the consultancies advising them. Teams use it to find what a product is made of, who supplies it, and which rules apply, with evidence attached.
- How does Material Transition handle regulatory data?
- Every regulatory flag is a record from a published list, retrieved with its source URL and listing date. These regulatory flags are not modeled, inferred, or predicted. The absence of a flag means it has not been identified in the covered lists. It does not establish compliance.
- How should I read supplier risk scores?
- Risk indicators help teams examine exposure such as political stability, water stress, flood, labor, and trade. Where a numeric score is available, the scale runs from 0 to 100: higher means riskier. The labels are Resilient, Watch, and At risk. Teams can adjust weights and dealbreakers for each project in their workspace. These priorities change the ranking, not the underlying source data.
