Kalt Mfg. Co. delivers comprehensive rebuild programs for every category of cold‑forming fastener machinery ranging from 1/8‑inch to 1½‑inch units, including cold headers, roller headers, nut formers and bolt makers. It also handles full lubrication and electrical retrofits, as well as OSHA‑compliant upgrades, and provides 24‑hour breakdown assistance and spare‑part support either on‑site or at its own facilities. Spare components are produced either from existing engineering drawings or through reverse‑engineering techniques, drawing on a library of more than 8,000 detailed schematics that cover cams, gears, crank shafts, die blocks, transfers, bolsters, punch holders, punch rockers and wedges. All machining operations are performed in‑house, offering precision fabrication of frames, slides, pitmans, crank shafts and main bearings, supported by an on‑site crane capable of lifting up to 30 tons. The company designs and manufactures OEM replacement parts and complete assemblies for fastener equipment, managing the process from casting through final machining. It engineers upgrades for TKO systems, transfers, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, feed‑roll/straightener pressure, KO locking nuts and transfer clamping mechanisms. Additional capabilities include prototype tooling development, custom machine design and construction for special projects, and the implementation of comprehensive IT solutions for the secure exchange of drawings and technical data.
