U. S. Polychemical Corporation produces a full line of environmentally responsible cleaners, weld‑spatter releases and rust inhibitors that are biodegradable, non‑flammable and non‑hazardous. Formulations are offered in water‑based, semi‑aqueous and solvent‑based formats and meet low‑or‑zero HAP, VOC and MACT requirements for applications such as pre‑paint preparation, paint stripping, line purging, degreasing, oil removal, buffing, rouge compounds, gel‑coat cleaning and fiberglass‑resin removal. Its parts‑cleaning solutions serve electroplating shops, jewelry manufacturers, automotive and military facilities, as well as machining and composite‑material operations. In addition, the firm manufactures Acrastrip®, a solvent‑replacement series developed in collaboration with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Acrastrip® substitutes acetone, xylene, methylene chloride, lacquer and paint thinner, providing a user‑friendly, biodegradable alternative that can replace a broad range of hazardous solvents in industrial settings.
