Mitsubishi Plastics Composites America, Inc. produces Alpolic® aluminum composite material (ACM), which consists of two aluminum skins adhered to a thermoplastic core. Its panels deliver the stiffness typical of heavy‑gauge sheet metal while remaining lighter, flatter, and capable of dampening vibration. A broad palette of finishes and colors is available. For exterior architecture, the material is applied to building fascia, cladding, canopies, entryways, column covers, and corporate‑identity projects. Interior applications include store fixtures, food‑service merchandising units, exhibit and display systems, ATM kiosks, and various signage solutions.
