Sturdy Grinding & Machining holds ISO 9001:2008 registration and provides a range of services that include CNC O.D. grinding, statistical process control, and both production and short‑run centerless grinding. Fully automated end‑feed and through‑feed diamond‑roll dressers are employed to handle a wide variety of parts. Bar stock and tube grinding capabilities cover diameters from 0.090 in. up to 12 in. and lengths up to 40 ft. Centerless grinders can process components of multiple diameters, while high‑volume centerless jobs are run on automated wide‑wheel machines. CNC O.D. grinding utilizes 6‑in. wide wheels for process gauging, lateral locating, and forming dress wheels. Axle shafts are also ground on automated O.D. grinders.
