Dan‑Kar Corp. designs and manufactures custom rat and mouse cages, illuminators, tubes, shielding blocks, manifolds, trays and plexiglass shields. Products are fabricated from a wide range of polymers and composites, such as Noryl, Delrin, Kydex, PTFE, PVC, acrylics, PEEK, ABS, nylon, polypropylene, phenolic, polyethylene, linen, UHMW, G‑10 and G‑11. The company’s capabilities include CNC milling, drilling, lathe turning, routing, die stamping, forming, plastic molding and final assembly. Dan‑Kar supports prototype development as well as low‑ to high‑volume production runs. Applications span biology, microbiology, radiation protection, research, electrophoresis and animal laboratory work, and the firm serves customers in the biotechnology, medical and marine industries.
