Cortland Line Co., Inc. produces premium braids and monofilaments for industrial and specialty markets. Its product line features braid‑and‑dye polyester, nylon Spectra® and a variety of other high‑tech yarns. Braid diameters are available from 0.010 in. to 0.070 in., delivering tensile strengths that range between 10 lb and 200 lb (test). Monofilaments are extruded in sizes from 0.005 in. to 0.070 in. with tensile strengths spanning 2 lb to 200 lb (test). Both braid and monofilament formats can be specially treated to adjust handling characteristics and elongation behavior, and plastic coatings may be applied to any line to meet unique performance requirements. Packaging options are customized to suit customer specifications
