Origin Technologies Corp. designs and produces portable, non‑contact laser instruments for dimensional measurement and surface‑contour analysis. Its lineup features hand‑held, battery‑operated devices as well as industrial, on‑line systems that automatically capture surface attributes such as gap, flush, step height, depth, angles, radius of curvature, wear, corrosion, pitting, scratches and overall contour. The solutions also evaluate part alignment, runout, fastener flushness, weld undercut, concavity, convexity, toe angles, peaking and mismatch. All readings are delivered with a precision of 0.0005 inch. Measured data and profiles are displayed on the screen, archived and available for download for further analysis.
