A.L. Hyde manufactures stock‑shape thermoplastic extrusions, producing solid rods and solid slabs to meet a wide range of dimensional requirements. Rods are available in diameters from ¼ inch up to 12 inches, while slabs can be ordered in thicknesses ranging from 1⁄32 inch to 4 inches. The product portfolio includes engineered plastics such as Delrin, acetal homopolymer, nylon, polycarbonate, Ultem, polysulfone, Hytrel (a thermoplastic elastomer), and Hydlar, which is reinforced with Kevlar fibers. In addition, the company supplies acrylic rod and tube in numerous diameters. A.L. Hyde also offers custom‑fabricated thermoplastic rods and slabs to address specific application needs.
