Company record
Taumel Assembly Systems designs and manufactures both standard and custom orbital head‑forming equipment. Its portfolio spans automatic dial‑feed units, compact benchtop models, high‑capacity benchtop machines, compression devices, double‑ended floor machines, modular configurations, and multi‑spindle head‑forming systems. Depending on the specific model, machines may employ pneumatic or hydraulic actuation, offer infinitely adjustable cycle time and pressure, provide automatic cycling, and integrate PLC or CNC controls together with built‑in micrometer stroke adjustment. The head‑forming machines are engineered to replace a wide range of conventional forming and fastening operations such as riveting, staking, spinning, hammering, pressing, peening, rolling, welding, upsetting and cold‑heading. They are capable of processing ferrous and non‑ferrous metals, stainless steel, zinc and aluminum die‑cast alloys, selected sintered metals, engineered thermoplastics and additional material types. In addition to the forming machines, Taumel supplies related fixtures and a variety of forming tools—including taper, flat, pan and crown head styles. The equipment is targeted at manufacturers of component parts for aeronautical, automotive, medical and other sectors that demand strict performance and quality standards.
