Progressive Metallizing & Machine provides machine rebuilding, metallizing, machining and grinding services while also acting as a distributor of a broad range of equipment, including C‑frame presses, belt presses, injection presses, mixers, mills, reclaim mills, calenders and both hot and cold feed extruders. The company’s rebuilding capability covers complete disassembly, refurbishment and re‑assembly of machines to customer specifications. Its grinding operations feature outside‑diameter grinding of parts up to 48 inches in diameter and Blanchard rotary surface grinding of workpieces as large as 54½ inches. Machining capacity includes lathe cutting of bars up to 264 inches long with a maximum 48‑inch outside diameter, vertical boring machines offering a swing of up to 120 inches and a height of 84 inches, and horizontal boring machines with travel limits of 108 inches on the X‑axis, 60 inches on the Y‑axis and 48 inches on the Z‑axis. Surface grinding can be performed on parts measuring 54 inches corner‑to‑corner, while radial drilling is available for holes up to 38 inches in length and 60 inches in height. Additional machining services comprise internal‑diameter keyway cutting of up to 2 inches, round sawing of 11‑inch diameters, sandblasting and comprehensive material handling.
