Welding Alloys USA supplies welding consumables for hard‑facing and stainless‑steel fabrication, manufactures wear plates, and provides a full line of welding equipment and related services. Its equipment portfolio comprises rail, flat‑plate and roll surfacers, sugar‑mill kits, manipulators, feeders, touch‑screen machine controls, as well as bore, boiler‑panel and roll cladding systems. The company’s service division focuses on hard‑facing and cladding projects for a wide range of industrial assets, including crushers, rotary kilns, roller presses, galvanizing kettles, water‑cooled panels, classifiers, cones, sieves, screens, tubes, pipes, elbows, hoppers, chutes, mill balls, rings, Xmas‑tree valves, grinding components and fans. In addition to standard wear plates, Welding Alloys USA produces the Hardlite™ line, a specially engineered wear plate designed for applications where weight is limited. The newer ultra‑thin composite version of Hardlite™ offers greater formability, reduced mass, increased hardness, and superior performance in moving‑part environments compared with conventional wear plates. Its micro‑structure is refined to contain a high volume of chromium carbides, delivering ultra‑high wear resistance while maintaining an optimum hardness of 66‑68 HRC for high wear and moderate impact conditions. The material retains its wear properties up to approximately 400 °F. Hardlite™ is employed in cones, endless screws, tubes, the armoring of vertical crushers, classifiers, vibrating tables, and fans across steelmaking, cement production, quarrying, agricultural processing, and thermal power generation.
