SRS - Scott Rotary Seals designs and manufactures rotary unions and rotary timing valves for a broad spectrum of industrial uses. Its rotary timing valves (RTV) are offered in standard configurations with up to ten stations and can be engineered to provide as many as sixty stations for custom orders. These valves move high‑pressure hydraulic fluids, air, vacuum or other gases from stationary piping to rotating equipment, delivering either automatic or manual on/off flow control with angular accuracy of one to two degrees. Typical RTV applications include automatic part clamping, actuation of mechanical devices and vacuum chucking. The company’s rotary unions are supplied with one to twenty‑four flow passages and enable dependable transfer of liquids or gases from fixed supply lines to rotating machinery across many sectors. Options include an electrical slip‑ring accessory and construction in either aluminum or stainless steel. Common union applications involve coolant delivery, powering air or hydraulic motors and providing bi‑directional pressure flow. Beyond product sales, SRS - Scott Rotary Seals provides remanufacturing and rebuilding services, comprehensive design and engineering support, technical assistance for most seal challenges, research and development for specialized customer needs, and computer‑controlled testing.
