Comptec, Inc. manufactures filament‑wound components using epoxy, vinyl‑ester and polyester resin systems reinforced with glass, carbon, Kevlar® and polyester fibers. The products are engineered to resist wear, corrosion and electrical stress and are available in diameters ranging from ½ inch to 4 feet with lengths from ½ inch up to 40 feet. Shapes include round, square, rectangular and tapered profiles, and the designs accommodate voltage ratings from 5 kV to 500 kV.
