Elliott Mfg. designs and manufactures flexible shafts that convey rotary motion around obstacles while compensating for misalignment and damping vibration. The product line includes both standard and custom‑engineered OEM configurations, ranging in diameter from .040 in. to 2.00 in. These shafts can operate at speeds between 1 RPM and 20,000 RPM and achieve efficiencies of up to 95 percent. They are frequently employed as straightforward alternatives to joints, gearboxes, pulleys and couplings.
