Company record
Direct Waterjet, Inc. provides solar‑ and wind‑powered abrasive‑jet machining for hard substrates and water‑only cutting for softer materials. The facility operates precision machining centers equipped with low‑taper designs, optical locators, mini‑jet heads for heightened accuracy, and dedicated water‑only nozzles. Depending on the nozzle selected, kerf widths range from 0.030 in. to 0.010 in., with typical dimensional tolerances of 0.005 in. and capabilities down to 0.003 in. The service can cut material thicknesses up to 6 in. and offers a standard one‑day lead time; many jobs are completed the next day when size permits. Production runs may consist of a single part or larger batches. Material compatibility includes all non‑toxic metals, foam, rubber and a variety of exotic alloys. Direct Waterjet, Inc. also delivers reverse‑engineering and CAD support, serving customers across all industry sectors. Prototypers and artists are explicitly welcomed, and every component of the shop—including ownership and operation—is manufactured in the United States.
