Blue Mountain Workshops, Inc. designs and manufactures custom wooden kitchen cabinetry for residential and institutional clients. Every wood piece is hand‑selected to achieve optimal color and grain consistency, and face‑frame components are sized and trimmed to suit each cabinet’s location, ensuring uniform gaps between doors and drawers. The cabinet cases are constructed from oversized parts, featuring full 3/4‑inch thick sides, tops, bottoms and backs. Hardware options include special spacer balls that keep raised panels centered and leg levelers that elevate the units off the floor to enhance durability. Drawers are built from solid maple and joined with dovetail joints on all four corners. The finishing sequence comprises twelve steps, with three machine sanding stages and three hand‑sand stages, followed by drying in a temperature‑controlled, four‑season finishing room equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology. Each order includes custom staining performed with non‑fading primary‑color dyes.
