Atlantec Process Technology, Inc. designs and manufactures wide‑face non‑woven abrasive brushes together with cleaning‑section process equipment for surface cleaning, finishing and deburring of flat metal strip, sheet and individual parts. The company supplies complete process line technology to producers of flat metal strip, sheet and both small and large components that require operations such as brushing, pickling, surface activation, degreasing, alkali treatment, etching and related services. Non‑woven abrasive brush production covers wide‑face brushes up to 20 inches in diameter and 80 inches in width, as well as wheels, rolls, hand pads and discs. Manufacturing flexibility enables brushes to be configured in flap, disc or convoluted constructions, with selectable impregnation formulas, density, hardness, grit type and grit sizes ranging from 36 to 1500, all tailored to customer specifications. Process machinery can be delivered as stand‑alone modules or as turn‑key sections of a production line. Equipment functions include cleaning, finishing, degreasing, deoxidizing and the removal of iron fines, smut, dirt, scale and burrs. For strip and sheet manufacturers, the cleaning‑section portfolio comprises pre‑cleaners (alkali or hot‑water high‑pressure), precision brush machines for mechanical cleaning, rinse and drying stations, filtration units and pickling sections.
