Carlisle Brake & Friction manufactures friction materials, stampings and powder‑metal parts for both OEM and aftermarket customers worldwide. The company holds ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification and offers a broad portfolio of friction materials that includes sintered metallic, semi‑metallic, organic, paper, graphitic and carbon‑cloth options. These materials are designed for dry or wet brake systems as well as clutch and transmission applications. Its powder‑metal capabilities enable multi‑level part production with diameters up to 18 in., using presses that can deliver forces of up to 3000 tons.
