ACME Portable Machines designs and builds rugged portable computer systems intended for extreme environments such as water exposure, sand, and high heat. The product line includes lunch‑box style units, tablet/laptop hybrids, and fully custom configurations that emphasize expandability, high‑speed PCI‑E interfaces, cache memory arrays, large‑capacity RAID storage, and multi‑core, multi‑chip processors. Configurations can accommodate up to 14 expansion slots and feature a combination of two 2.5‑inch, 3.5‑inch, or 5.25‑inch drive bays. Customers may select Intel Xeon or dual Xeon CPUs, and optional display options include up to three 17‑inch screens delivering 1900 × 1200 resolution, with the choice of a capacitive touchscreen.
