Hastings Manufacturing Company, LLC designs and manufactures piston rings and piston seals for original equipment manufacturers and engine‑aftermarket customers worldwide. The firm has produced more than 100 million piston rings, ranging from standard compression rings to its proprietary Flex‑Vent® oil rings. Its products serve a broad spectrum of applications, including automotive, truck, motorcycle, compressor, marine, lawn‑care, industrial and racing engines. Bore diameters covered extend from 1.75 in. up to sizes exceeding 10 in. Available material selections comprise cast iron, premium ductile iron, alloy steel and stainless steel, while optional surface treatments include plasma‑moly, chrome, nitride and manganese phosphate coatings.
