Solvent Kleene, Inc. manufactures a line of eco‑friendly biodegradable degreasers, cleaners, powder‑coating and paint strippers—including formulations for aircraft paint—and offers portable solvent‑recovery systems. The degreaser cleaners are non‑hazardous, VOC‑free, non‑toxic, non‑carcinogenic and non‑flammable, and they are compatible with all metals as well as existing degreasing equipment and processes; they dry quickly and do not require heating. Their organic, VOC‑free paint and powder‑coating removers and depainters operate at ambient temperature and can be applied by immersion, spray‑on or brush‑on methods. The strippers are capable of removing chemical coatings, E‑coatings/electrocoatings and eco‑coatings, carry NSN designations, and are also offered in cold‑strip formulations. Solvent‑recovery units are available in sizes ranging from 6‑gallon batch models to 55‑gallon continuous‑feed systems, and each unit can be equipped with an optional vacuum‑assist feature for handling high‑temperature solvents.
