Mitsubishi Gas Chemical America, Inc. (MGCA) imports a portfolio of oxygen‑absorbing solutions designed to protect perishable goods. The Ageless® line is supplied in small packets or pouches that are placed inside food packaging; the product chemically eliminates residual oxygen, thereby preserving freshness, nutritional value and flavor in Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) applications. Ageless® does not contact the food itself, is straightforward to deploy, cost‑effective, non‑toxic, environmentally safe and contributes to extended shelf life (ESL). MGCA also distributes Pharmkeep®, a preservation system targeted at pharmaceutical and nutraceutical ingredients as well as medical devices. In addition, the company offers RPSystem™, an anoxic preservation platform for oxidative metal components, electronic parts, museum artifacts and similar items; the system incorporates clear, ceramic‑based high gas‑barrier films to maintain an oxygen‑free environment.
