The process involves submerging a metal form into liquid rubber latex, a technique that is most cost‑effective for small to medium production volumes. Items created by this method exhibit a consistent wall thickness and are offered only in natural rubber or neoprene. Standard thickness options include a single dip (0.020 in. or 0.040 in.), a double dip (0.040 in. or 0.060 in.), and a triple dip (0.070 in. or 0.090 in.). Existing tooling for this bellows style enables the manufacture of fully rubber, seamless components without additional tooling expense. In addition to bellows and boots, Latex Products manufactures convoluted tubes, dust shields, and custom protective covers, and can adapt most shapes to meet specific design requirements.
