Taurus Electric Motors designs and manufactures both custom and stock electric motors for OEMs, distributors and end‑users, applying the latest motor‑building technologies. The product line includes 48‑frame and 56‑frame open drip‑proof as well as totally enclosed fan‑cooled motors. Customers can specify any combination of enclosure type, conduit box, base mount, winding, bearing style, shaft dimensions, mounting configuration, housing, speed, flange size, frequency (Hz), voltage, torque, efficiency and current to obtain a motor that meets their exact requirements. Taurus Electric Motors offers full‑cycle capabilities, from prototype development through low‑volume and high‑volume production runs. Typical applications cover pumps, air‑conditioning equipment, farm machinery, conveyors, business machines, gear reducers, compressors, power tools, fans and blowers, packaging machinery, woodworking equipment, washing machines, garage‑door openers and elevators. All motors comply with NEMA standards, are CSA certified and recognized by UL.
