Lorain Modern Pattern, Inc. supplies custom‑manufactured foundry patterns, castings, molds, fixtures, models and prototypes. The company works with a broad range of materials, including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze, wood, foam, plastic and epoxy resin. It produces various mold types such as investment‑cast molds, thermoforming molds, reaction‑injection (RIM) molds and rotational molds, and also offers reverse‑engineering services. In addition to primary fabrication, Lorain Modern Pattern provides secondary operations such as wire EDM, manual and CNC machining, sandblasting, inspection, hand benching, maintenance and coating. Short‑run production is available, and the firm accepts CAD/CAM files for processing.
