Simmons Group, Ltd. produces both standard and custom‑engineered castings, component parts, injection‑molded plastics, sub‑assemblies and complete finished products. The casting portfolio is generated through investment (lost‑wax and permanent), sand and die‑casting techniques, and the material range includes gray iron, malleable and ductile iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, brass, bronze, zinc and aluminum. Plastic components are formed using a variety of resins, engineering plastics, styrene, co‑polymers, nylon and glass‑filled nylon, employing insert molding as well as horizontal or vertical injection molding processes. In addition, the company supplies electronic components and assemblies such as point‑of‑sale terminals, single‑ and multi‑layer printed circuit boards (both populated and bare), LCD and LED displays, power supplies, CAD/CAM assemblies and surface‑mount devices. Supporting services encompass supplier sourcing, vendor assessment, development of quality‑control procedures and specifications, on‑site laboratory testing and continuous in‑process quality monitoring.
