ShatterGARD Co. supplies and installs a full suite of protective window‑film systems—including BurglarGARD, StormGARD, BlastGARD, ScratchGARD and GlareGARD—engineered to counter burglary, extreme weather events and terrorist attacks. The films can be applied to glass storefronts, windows, doors and both interior and exterior glazing, whether retrofitted onto existing units or incorporated into new‑build and OEM projects. By using these laminates, customers can often eliminate the need for traditional burglar bars and hurricane shutters. Optically clear tinted versions lower heat gain and glare by up to 40 percent. Available in thicknesses ranging from 6 mil to 18 mil, the products deliver tensile strengths of up to 28,500 psi and meet ASTM puncture specifications of 231 lb. A global network of certified installers supports deployment worldwide.
