Merrimac Spool & Reel Co., Inc. supplies chipboard and corrugated spools and reels, as well as metal or plastic core plugs, cores, and tubes. The product line includes both assembled and unassembled spools and reels, and a full assortment of custom‑die‑cut flanges ranging from 0.050 to 0.200 in. thickness. Flanges can be decorated by flexographic or silk‑screen printing. Spiral‑wound cores are offered in a variety of diameters, and all cores can be cut to customer‑specified lengths. Spools and flanges are stocked in multiple sizes and thicknesses, with diameters available up to 30 in. Chipboard cores and metal core plugs are produced in inside diameters from 1 1/8 in. to 6
