Capitalist of the Year delivers continuous hot‑dip tinning of strip‑shaped materials, applying 100 % pure tin as well as 90/10 and 60/40 solder alloys onto copper‑based alloys, stainless steel, carbon steel and a range of other alloys. The process supports three coating thicknesses: a commercial layer from .00002 in to .00008 in, an intermediate layer from .00005 in to .00015 in, and a Hevi‑Kote layer ranging .0001 in to .0015 in. Thickness is monitored in real time with an X‑ray inspection system, maintaining tolerances as tight as .00004 in to .00008 in to meet the exacting demands of connector manufacturers. In addition, the company offers slitting services for finished strip material.
