Insulation Technology, Inc. manufactures expanded polystyrene in the form of closed‑cell sheets, pads, blocks and custom‑contoured cuts. The material is applied to cold‑storage facilities, building foundations, roofing and underlayment systems, wall assemblies, and containers that hold perishable goods. Additional uses include cushioning and protective packaging, geofoam, ceiling tiles, roof vents, buoys and flotation devices, exterior wall systems, as well as displays and sculptural pieces. The product line is characterized by resistance to fungi, bacteria and rot, recyclability, water resistance, flame retardancy, high cushioning performance, the absence of CFC and HCFC compounds, low weight and superior thermal insulation.
