Komax Systems, Inc. supplies in‑line static mixers, steam injection heaters and steam desuperheaters for a range of process applications. The static mixers are engineered for low‑ and high‑viscosity streams as well as gas‑to‑gas and gas‑to‑liquid combinations, and they operate without any moving parts. Pipe‑size options span from ¼‑inch to 72‑inch diameters, while larger in‑channel units are capable of handling flows exceeding 200 mgd. All mixers are fabricated from stainless steel, carbon steel, PVC, FRP, PTFE or Kynar® to meet diverse material requirements. Direct‑injection steam heaters are designed for in‑line installation to raise the temperature of process streams or to provide tank heating; a 3‑A approved sanitary model is also offered for applications with stringent hygiene standards. Steam desuperheaters follow the same no‑moving‑part principle and integrate mixing functionality to ensure efficient temperature control.
