Memcor Inc. manufactures wire‑wound resistors and rheostats for a broad range of industrial applications. Its resistor portfolio includes vitreous‑fixed types, high‑current units, oval and axial silicone configurations, as well as ferrule designs. Power ratings span from 1 W up to 1 500 W, and all products meet MIL‑R‑26 specifications; custom modifications are offered to meet specific customer requirements. The rheostat line covers standard power ratings from 12½ W to 1 000 W and provides resistance values up to 10 000 Ω. Options feature tapered windings, full 360‑degree rotation, toggle switches, special taps, tandem assemblies, dust‑proof construction, RE (reversible) operation, and integrated micro‑switches. Additional specialized rheostats incorporate tapered sections, locking mechanisms, and defined off positions. Memcor also supplies tandem mountings and custom shafts mounted on bushings to accommodate unique installation needs.
