PTC Instruments designs and manufactures a comprehensive portfolio of measurement equipment. Its product range includes digital and analog durometers covering every ASTM D2240 specification for testing rubber, plastic, composite foam, amusement‑park ride components, seat cushions and sponge rubber, as well as JIS and Asker‑type models. The company also produces metal hardness testers and a full line of thermometers, with a particular focus on surface‑temperature devices such as Spot Check®, tank and cylinder probes, dual‑magnet mounts and four‑magnet mounts. In addition, PTC Instruments offers bimetal thermometers and an extensive selection of data loggers. All instruments can be supplied with certification to NIST in accordance with ANSI NCLS Z540‑1, and the firm holds A2LA accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for durometer calibration.
