Company record
Boston Electronics Corp. develops and supplies a broad portfolio of optoelectronic components and measurement hardware. The company offers quantum‑cascade tunable infrared diode lasers that operate at room temperature, as well as ultraviolet and infrared photodetectors built from silicon carbide, gallium nitride and titanium dioxide covering the 130 nm to 380 nm spectral range. Ultra‑fast mercury‑cadmium‑telluride detectors are available for wavelengths from 2 µm up to more than 12 µm. Boston Electronics also provides continuous‑wave and pulsed infrared thermal sources, together with mechanical choppers, optical shutters and lock‑in amplifiers. Its product line extends to lidar and time‑correlated single‑photon‑counting electronics, high‑repetition‑rate diode lasers, and single‑photon‑counting photomultiplier tubes and microchannel plates. Additional detector options include silicon and germanium devices.
