F. H. Ayer provides comprehensive pump rebuilding and rotating‑equipment services from a dedicated refurbishment facility. The company restores a wide range of pump types, including boiler‑feed, vertical, reciprocating, end‑suction, horizontal‑between‑bearing (single‑ and multistage), gear, ANSI, API, submersible, dry‑pit, in‑line and various specialty designs. In addition to pump work, F. H. Ayer performs gearbox and strainer repairs. Balancing, vibration analysis, condition‑monitoring for predictive maintenance and laser alignment are offered both on‑site and within the shop. The on‑premises machine shop is fully equipped, featuring CNC machining capabilities, and the operation also includes thermal‑spraying (metallizing) services.
