Polyply Composites, LLC compresses and molds fiberglass‑reinforced polyester materials while also delivering plastic compounding services. The firm produces a range of molding compounds, including the proprietary Polyrite® sheet molding compounds and industrial sheet laminates such as BluTherm, ChemBlock, and Electrical Grade products designed for insulation applications. All plastic materials are engineered for electrical and thermal insulation, UL‑rated flame retardancy, high strength, and resistance to chemicals, tracking, and wear. Molding capacity spans presses from 75 ton to 1,000 ton, and the operation offers secondary machining to fabricate sheets, insulating channels, and angles. In the compounding arena, Polyply Composites provides bulk raw‑material delivery for the production of SMCs, BMCs, and wet molding mixes, alongside custom engineering and blending of composite formulations. Equipment inventory includes a 24‑inch SMC machine, BMC mixers with 14‑gal, 100‑gal, and 250‑gal capacities, high‑shear blenders, dissolvers, and pultrusion machines, supporting a variety of custom capabilities.
