Powerohm Resistors, Inc. designs and manufactures power resistors, providing wire‑wound, edge‑wound, grid and ribbon types. These resistors are used for high‑resistance and neutral grounding of transformers and generators, dynamic braking of variable‑speed drives, motor control, filtering, transit systems and load banks, either as individual components or as assembled units. In addition, Powerohm offers standard, custom‑made, or replacement configurations of resistors from other manufacturers.
