Whittet‑Higgins Co. designs, engineers, manufactures domestically and stocks commercial and precision retaining devices for bearing, power‑transmission and a wide range of machinery and equipment assemblies. Its product line includes washers, sockets, wrenches, sleeve fasteners, nuts and shrink discs. Washers are supplied in stainless steel, carbon steel, thin‑profile and thread‑limiting forms. Nut offerings cover alloy, aluminum, bar‑turned, bearing‑lock, brass and bronze, special‑purpose, stainless steel, carbon steel, thin, threaded‑limiting, heavy‑duty, left‑hand and metal types. The catalog also features mechanical locks, locknuts with lockwashers, adapter sets, and both plain and threaded collars. Materials used comprise stainless steel, carbon steel, low‑carbon steel, various alloys and aluminum. Technical design and engineering assistance is provided, and CAD drawings are available on request. All items are conceived, engineered and fabricated in the United States.
