Advanced Valve Design, Inc. (AVD) designs and manufactures both standard and custom dampers, butterfly valves, and elastomer‑seated valves. The damper portfolio includes fabricated units, fiberglass‑reinforced plastic (FRP) models, light‑duty options, and specialty designs. Butterfly valves are built with metal‑seated components, featuring a cast‑iron body and disc, 304 stainless‑steel shafts, PTFE bearings and packing, as well as steel packing glands and pipe plugs. Elastomer‑seated valves are produced from weldable alloys such as carbon steel and stainless steel, and accommodate a range of elastomers including PTFE, Viton®, neoprene, Buna, and ethylene propylene terpolymer (EPT). In addition, AVD offers valves that meet American Water Works Association (AWWA) specifications for high‑pressure applications.
