Preco-Impreg delivers custom vacuum‑impregnation sealing services that are fully PLC‑controlled. The operation is organized into three distinct stages. First, individually packaged components are placed in a dry pressure vessel where a vacuum is applied and sealant introduced. After the vacuum is released, the system applies 70 to 90 psi of pressure to drive the resin into the material’s pores. The parts then move to a wash and rinse module before entering the curing phase, which is held at 195 °F with a tolerance of ±5 °F. The equipment can accommodate items up to 14 inches in diameter and 24 inches in length, and it is capable of sealing castings weighing as much as 2,500 lb. All resins used are organic and formulated to be environmentally friendly. Preco-Impreg serves the aerospace, aviation, defense, and automotive sectors.
