Manufacturing techniques span acid, photometal, photochemical and non‑acid etching; computer‑controlled, laser and mechanical engraving; lost‑wax and green casting for lettering and plaques; and cutting methods such as water‑jet, laser, plasma, band‑saw and router. Spanjer Corp. works with a range of metals—including brass, bronze, stainless steel, aluminum, magnum and copper—and can combine multiple metals within a single design. Beyond signage, the firm produces awnings, banners, post and panel signs, stanchions, and directories, and it applies gold‑leaf or vinyl lettering to any substrate. It also offers design services, on‑site installation, and assistance with sign permits and landmark approvals.
