Smalley Steel Ring Co. designs and manufactures both standard and custom retaining rings, including single‑turn and double‑turn spirals, snap rings, thin‑wall, axial‑wave, laminar‑seal, self‑locking and tapered‑section variants. The product line also comprises overlap, gap, narrow and round‑wire coil springs, metric bearing‑preload single‑turn springs, nested or interlaced spirals, flat‑wire compression springs, linear marcelled springs and shim‑end springs. All components are produced from carbon steel, beryllium copper, exotic alloys, bronze, titanium, as well as 302 and 316 stainless steel. Smalley Steel Ring Co. offers prototype development and production runs ranging from low to high volumes, and maintains an inventory of stocked items for immediate shipment.
