Compact Power Co. designs and manufactures AC output power supplies that utilize pulse width modulation (PWM) technology, delivering units with broader bandwidth, increased ruggedness, and greater flexibility while also being smaller, lighter, and less costly. The supplies provide fully isolated and floating output and are available in three configurations: front‑panel binding posts, standard NEMA AC receptacles, and rear‑mounted barrier strips. A front‑panel switch selects between 130 V and 260 V operation, and digital meters show frequency, voltage, and current for easy use in either benchtop or rack‑mount installations. The internal PWM power amplifier can be driven by an internal sine‑wave oscillator or by external waveforms through a BNC input port. Built‑in overload and short‑circuit protection ensures smooth, automatic recovery, allowing continuous safe operation into any symmetrical AC load without derating, overheating, or shutdown. These features make the supplies ideal for operating and testing most line‑operated equipment or any system that requires a precision AC power source.
