Suhm Spring Works, Inc. designs and produces custom hot‑wound and cold‑wound compression, extension, bow, belleville, and torsion springs, while also fabricating retainer rings, stampings, wire forms and shims. The company works with a full spectrum of spring alloys, including carbon steel, stainless steel, Inconel, phosphorous bronze and Elgiloy, and can handle material dimensions ranging from 0.005 in wire to 4.000 in bar. Production capabilities are expanded through water‑jet cutting, laser‑jet cutting, brake‑press operations and multi‑forming equipment. In addition, Suhm Spring Works offers secondary processes such as coating, plating, shot peening and electropolishing. Quality assurance includes physical inspections, metallurgical analyses, liquid‑penetrant testing and magnetic‑particle inspection. The firm also provides full qualification testing, delivering load and cycle tests capable of reaching 250,000 lb. All order sizes are accepted.
