Precision Resistor Co., Inc designs and manufactures both standard and custom wire‑wound direct‑current passive electrical components, including resistors, sensors, shunts, compensators and digital multimeter calibrators. Every component is constructed with a broad selection of wire materials—temperature‑sensitive alloys, manganin, copper, nickel, iron and several other alloys. Resistor offerings span ultra‑precision, high‑precision and precision‑power categories. Sensor lines comprise resistant sensors, two‑tab surface‑mounted designs, axial sensors, probe sensors, current‑sensing shunts, and four‑terminal rectangular axial shunts that feature aluminum cases and heavier AWG leads for high‑current and high‑power uses. Customers can also select Mil‑R style parts or a platinum‑DIN alternative. The company provides tape‑and‑reel packaging services and ensures NIST traceability for its products. All items are produced lead‑free and comply with RoHS requirements.
