Grindal Company delivers ISO 9001:2015‑certified precision grinding solutions. The operation supports both CNC and manual grinding, covering internal (I.D.) and external (O.D.) applications, as well as I.D. and O.D. CNC vertical grinding, precision flat lapping, I.D. honing, centerless grinding, thread grinding, and rotary or reciprocating grinding. In addition, Grindal Company provides repair work that includes live and dead center refurbishment, ballscrew bearing diameter correction, spindle shaft restoration, and industrial roller repair. The shop’s capabilities span centerless grinding of parts from 0.100 in. to 4.500 in. in diameter, with both thru‑feed and profile options; internal grinding from 0.250 in. to 18 in.; external grinding from 0.032 in. to 18 in.; flat lapping of workpieces ranging from 0.250 in. to 24 in. and up to 3 in. thick while achieving accurate flatness; and I.D. honing for diameters between 0.100 in. and 14 in. in various lengths. Thread and worm‑gear grinding are offered for diameters from 0.025 in. to 12 in., and surface grinding includes Blanchard, rotary and reciprocating methods. Materials processed include plastic, ceramics, carbide, stainless steel, Inconel, brass, bronze, aluminum and heat‑treated steels. Grindal Company can accommodate projects from prototype and short‑run orders through medium and large production volumes.
