Classic Glass, Ltd, Stained Glass Studio provides comprehensive stained‑glass restoration services. The firm handles complete re‑leading, cleaning, polishing, reinforcing, cementing, glass research and matching, paint replication, frame replacement, as well as window relocation and retrofit. The restoration workflow begins with thorough documentation of each existing stained‑glass installation and systematic labeling of all panels and openings. Panels are then removed from the exterior of their frameworks, and their stability is evaluated; any necessary stabilization is performed before removal. The windows are placed on appropriate racks inside enclosed trucks for secure transport to the studio. If required, weather‑tight wooden coverings are installed over openings to protect the site. During studio work, oxidation is eliminated and, where needed, flat steel re‑bars are affixed to the back (outside) of the panels. The glass is subsequently polished and cleaned. After processing, the windows are again loaded onto suitable racks in enclosed trucks for safe delivery to the job site. Finally, the panels are reinstalled into new frames using scaffolding or lift equipment, completing the restoration.
